our country is famous and appreciated for being storehouse of such lively colours..be it our huge array of spices, veggies and fruits....ever changing weathers- autumn, spring, rains...cross cultural celebrations..rangolis made at the entrance of houses...those lovely silk kaancheevaram sarees.. beetroot red, bright orange, magenta, golden trimmings, silver embellishments.
our festivities..colourful holi, mesmerising dandiya, navratri, diwali illuminated with golden sparks of crackers, diyas, candles...
deep red bridal colour, delicious chocolate brown, saffron coloured sages, refreshing greenery all around, hues of blue above us, turmeric yellow, black stillness at night, ujala safedi all white ;p
....how our life is filled with amazing colours!

recently got my house painted- after going thru around 200 shades.. selected a combo of two for my room: sapphire ice and silvery smoke.. (sky blue and grey).. wanted to have the the look of sky just before a heavy downpour :)
from subtle ones like peaches, purples, baby pinks to loud ones- maroons, majenta, orange, from red hot to cool blue, from refreshing green to gloomy cream....there is one to appeal every eye... n after writing about colours.. one childhood game's jingle coming to my mind: 'tippy tippy tap...what colour do u want??' :)
